There was a piece of software with one hundred features. A bug report was received for one of those features. On hearing this, the developer set about focusing all their attention on addressing the bug.

They didn’t abandon the other features while focusing on the bug. They had tests in place to keep them safe while making changes. All the functionality was important, not just the one with the bug.
However, upon fixing the bug and getting the feature working again, there was a time of celebration. It’s normal to celebrate fixing a bug (or releasing a new feature) more than functionality that is working fine.

Celebrating writing and releasing software is great, but it’s barely measurable in comparison to the level of joy in Heaven when a sinner repents.
